"I am proud to endorse Kevin Lamm for the State Central Committee position for the 16th Congressional District. I've known Kevin for almost 40 years, starting in student politics at the University of Illinois and then as a camp staff member for the Boy Scouts. 

Our friendship continued through my 30+ years in the US Army and into retirement. He's a passionate leader who is deeply committed to progressive values and public service. e've had many conversations over the years about politics and about our respective military service. Some of these conversations reflect the normal Army vs Navy banter (Kevin's a proud Navy vet)' but most of them were about our national security, domestic use of the military and the treatment of military veterans here in Illinois. 

Kevin understands the importance of focusing our military on defending the nation against foreign threats and that taking care of our veterans is a sacred obligation. Kevin's the kind of leader we need.

He's focused on getting things done. He's not afraid to roll up his sleeves, recruit candidates, knock on doors, pass petitions and do the hard work our Party needs to win in the 16th District and across the State."
