"I just met Kevin last year, as I recently moved into the County Chair position of the Ogle County Democratic Party. As a new Chair, it has been challenging at times to know what I should be doing, where I can go for help and just keeping up with all the demands of the role. Kevin reached out by attending our picnic in June (2025), came to our July meeting and provided a great overview and guideline for petition signing and has been both a mentor and friend since.
He is already doing for me and for Ogle County what I envision the role of State Central Committeeman should be -- a resource who keeps me aware of what is happening at the State level and who provides hands on guidance as we try to grow our Party.
