"I have been fortunate to know and work alongside Kevin for more than forty (40), years. Kevin’s steadfast commitment to family, building our community, and our Country, sets him apart and makes him a great leader. 

When assessing candidates for public office, special deference needs to be given to the “labor question”. In my presence, Kevin has championed the cause of Working People, fundamental fairness and equality across all sectors of the economy. 

In the early 1980s, Kevin was there, supporting dislocated Steel Workers and their families when the mills closed on Chicago’s Southside.  
Leading the way on public school reform in Illinois, Kevin organized the first Local School Council at Brentano Elementary in Logan Square. At the University of Illinois, Kevin  brought together a broad coalition of Students into “Campus Fusion”, uniting leaders to open the doors of higher education to all families. 

The best measure of someone’s future performance, is found in one’s past performance. Throughout the current campaign cycle for the 16th District race, Kevin has demonstrated that building community, from the foundation up, is the only way to build structure that is responsive and effective to meet the needs of our community. 

Leaders of Kevin’s caliber are rare in today’s politics. I’m proud to endorse his candidacy. Now, let’s work together to Win!"
