Growing up in Chicago and living 3/4 of my life in rural communities I have come to appreciate the diversity, stigma and needs of rural communities. Kevin Lamm has been the first politician I have met to actively seek connection with rural communities. He realizes the potential of the 16th predominantly rural-based district to realize change for the Democratic party here in Illinois (as well as nationally). He personally has supported the organizing of a democratic committee here in Marshall County where none has existed for too long. Great Beginnings for all!
